Today’s Democracy Now was the biggest mindfuck of a news hour I've ever witnessed... everything that's happening in this moment with the U.S., Russia, China, Syria, North Korea, Iran, Afghanistan, Yemen, the Baltics, Ukraine, NATO, the UN, the military-industrial complex, ExxonMobil, the intelligence agencies, the so-called Deep State... it's all so complex that none of us has much of an idea what's really going on right now. And our new president certainly doesn't have the mental capacity to grasp the nuances at play.
