The Republican-controlled House just sold us all out. They just voted to repeal the Affordable Care Act—which, let's be clear, was a plan developed by a conservative think tank and first put into practice by Republican Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney—and they've replaced it with some bullshit slapdash bill that fails to protect those of us with pre-existing conditions.

Not that it's a big secret, but our elected leaders do not have our best interests in mind—they run this show for themselves and the corporations and oligarchs who fund their campaigns and keep them in power. They don't even try to hide their corruption anymore. They look straight into our eyes, and whisper, "What the fuck you gonna do about it?" Like my man Nathan Bell says, we are living in "Traitorland."
